A. Information You Provide Directly
• Account Information: Email address, display name via Firebase Authentication (Apple, Google).
• Conversation Logs (“Habit Actions”): Topic titles, notes, timestamps, categories, tags.
• Relationship Profile: Partner names, birthdays, “together since” date, special dates, optional image.
B. Information Collected Automatically
• Device & Usage Data: Device type, OS version, crash reports, anonymized analytics.-
How We Use Your Data
• Authenticate users and synchronize data via Firebase Authentication and Firestore.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in case of crash. -
Data Sharing & Disclosure
• Within Groups: Habit Actions and Relationship Profile data are shared with group members.
• Service Providers: Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) and GitHub access data only as needed and are bound by privacy obligations. -
Data Retention
• Firestore data (Habit Actions, Relationship Profile) is retained until you delete your account.
• Encrypted topic files are cached on your device and refreshed periodically; they are not personal data. -
Security
We use industry-standard measures: AES-GCM encryption for topic files, HTTPS for network communication, and Firebase security controls. No system is completely secure; absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. -
Your Rights & Choices
• Access & Correction: You can view or edit your Relationship Profile and Habit Actions in the App.
• Deletion: You may delete your account via the App; this removes your data from Firestore. Other group members’ data remains unless they delete theirs. -
International Transfers
Your data is stored and processed in Google’s data centers (EU and U.S.) under Firebase’s policies and standard contractual clauses. -
Changes to This Policy
We will post updates here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

- Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Pillow Talk mobile application (the “App”) provided by Alpine Bytes (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. - Eligibility
You must be at least the specified age for the application on the App Store (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. - License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or any of its features. - Account Registration & Authentication
a. You must register for an account via Firebase Authentication (Apple, Google, or anonymously) to access certain features.
b. Anonymous users may upgrade to a full account at any time; all data logged under the anonymous account will be retained and linked to the new account. - User Content & Data Ownership
a. You retain ownership of all notes, entries, and other content (“Habit Actions” and “Relationship Profile” data) you create in the App.
b. By submitting content, you grant Alpine Bytes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display such content to you and any group members you share it with. - Shared Groups
a. The App allows users to form or join a “habit group” with partner(s). All group members can view and contribute to the same Habit Actions and Relationship Profile.
b. Relationship Profile data (names, birthdays, “together since” date, special dates, images) is mutual: once entered by any group member, it is visible to all.
c. If you delete your account or data, your own copy of Relationship Profile and Habit Actions will be removed; however, other group members’ copies will remain intact unless they also delete their data or the group is disbanded. - Subscription & Premium Features
a. The App offers a premium subscription (“Premium”) that unlocks limitations of free tier users in the app.
b. Premium subscriptions are purchased through your Apple ID and are not tied to your Pillow Talk account.
c. You may use Premium with any number of Pillow Talk users on the same device, provided you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription.
d. Subscription terms, billing, and cancellations are managed by Apple; please see Apple’s subscription management policies for details. - Updates and Modifications
We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance. - Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access and delete your data if you violate these Terms or engage in unlawful or harmful conduct. You may delete your account and data at any time via the App; see Section 6(c) regarding group data. - Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies: We are constantly updating product and service offerings on the Service. We may experience delays in updating information on the Service and in our advertising on other web sites or apps. The information found on the Service may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. Products or services may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable on the Service and we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information found on the Service.We therefore reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.
Subscriptions: Some parts of the Service, such as our unlimited snapshot feature usage, are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). Subscriptions are offered with a 3-days free trial ("Trial Period") and thereafter billed for $19.99 USD ("Subscription Rate") per year ("Subscription Period"), or $2.99 USD per month, or $23.99 USD for lifetime access to the subscription. Prices will vary by country. Subscriptions give you access to premium features of the service. Content will be modified or updated at our discretion. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current Subscription Period and will be billed at the Subscription Rate. Your Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase (navigate to the following page within iOS Settings: iTunes & App Stores > Tap on Apple ID > View Apple ID > Subscriptions).
Fee ChangesSpace-Gate, in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify the Subscription fees for the Subscriptions. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Subscription Period.You will be provided a reasonable prior notice of any change in Subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your Subscription before such change becomes effective.Your continued use of the Service after the Subscription fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified Subscription fee amount. Refunds: Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable. - Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALPINE BYTES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. - Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALPINE BYTES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP.
